FCM taps into Japan’s business travel market

Japan is the world’s fourth largest business travel market; however, FCM’s research shows that there is still a long way to go for business development. Less than 15% of Japanese companies currently use TMCs, with business travel mostly handled in-house.
Of the 818 Japanese travel managers currently not working with a TMC, 88% indicated an urgent need to digitize business travel arrangements. It also emphasized risk management, with 81% believing that business travel would be easier and safer using a qualified agency designated by the company.
