Gulf Air participates in the World Travel Market 2021

London, United Kingdom: Gulf Air, the national airline of the Kingdom of Bahrain, participated in the World Travel Market (WTM), the world’s largest travel trade fair, which took place in London from November 1-3, 2021. The airline participated in the event alongside the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and a number of representatives from Bahrain’s travel and tourism industry, including hotels, travel agencies and destination management companies.

HE Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani, Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Air attended the event and said: “The World Travel Market is a key industry event. in which Gulf Air participates every year. We believe it provides a great platform for tourism boards and airlines to showcase the best of their countries to the world of travel and tourism. Gulf Air’s boutique strategy and new fleet have proven successful by turning heads to our brand on international platforms and we will ensure not only to maintain but to elevate our role in promoting inbound tourism to the Kingdom of Bahrain ”.

The annual show provides a unique opportunity for the global travel trade industry to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business. Gulf Air’s participation in the event is in line with its strategy and continued efforts to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain to an international audience as a tourism and business destination. Bahrain’s national carrier has a long history with the WTM and has been a key exhibitor for many years since the early editions of the event. The exhibition is an annual global event attended by major international players and professionals from the travel and tourism industry.
