The awards were held at the Holiday Inn West in Thorpe Wood and were hosted by BBC Radio Lincolnshire presenter Melvyn Prior.

Guests also enjoyed an inspiring talk by British polar explorer and motivational speaker Ann Daniels.

Ann recounted how she and her teammate Caroline Hamilton were the first women to reach both the North Pole and the South Pole on all-female teams, in 2002.

She also led the Catlin Arctic Survey expeditions in 2009, 2010 and 2011, with Pen Hadow.

Peterborough Telegraph Editor-in-Chief Mark Edwards said: “Each year we celebrate the success of local businesses regardless of the challenges – and since March of last year those challenges are unprecedented.

“What our finalists and winners have accomplished is remarkable and shows some of the great companies that are making Peterborough’s economy a success.
