Intended to connect, inspire and support Latinx entrepreneurs, the Summit evolved from the Latinx Travel Club’s primary mission of creating closer connections between Latinxes and their origins through travel, music, and cultural platforms.

“We cultivate a community that empowers and recognizes Latinx entrepreneurs,” says Pablo Segarra, Esq., CEO of Latinx Travel Club. “As the gathering of the world’s youngest, most diverse and fastest growing populations, we will celebrate the ingenuity and innovation of the Latinxes. Our summit will be the platform to connect companies, founders, organizations and thought leaders who focus on millennials and millennials. ”

The summit will highlight the economic and cultural impact of one of the world’s fastest growing, most diverse and youngest populations, with roughly 23% of the Millennial population. “We are often told that we are the minority, when in fact we are the majority of the Western Hemisphere,” says Michael Watson, co-founder of the Latinx Travel Club. The summit will focus on entrepreneurs, as Latinx small business owners are the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs in the United States.

Miami due to its large Latin American and Caribbean population and the city’s growing reputation as the next tech hub made it the big winner to host the inaugural summit. “Miami is leading the way as more entrepreneurs and investors move from traditional tech cities to emerging startup ecosystems,” Segarra continues. “The city also has a vibrant LGBTQ community and a non-Spanish speaking Latinx diaspora community, including Haitians, Brazilians and Jamaicans. We look forward to seeing them all represented at the Summit.
