St. Jerome Guild announces dates for ‘Noel Nook’

The St. Jerome Guild, Inc., annual “Noel Nook” will be held at the Jerome Center at 16 Bank Street, Batavia, NY November 5-12, 2021 9 am-4pm, Saturdays November 6-13, 9 am-2pm and closed Sunday, November 7. Please wear a mask. All customers will receive a 10% discount on the entire order (some exclusions apply). We invite parents and their children to post letters from their Santa Claus in the North Pole post located outside the gift shop.

It’s the season to wear customer favorites for home interiors and elegant ponchos, capes and shawls, woven caplets, hats and gloves trimmed with fur and knitwear, gorgeous scarves, from K&K, Carmen & Coco, Mud Pie, Simply Noelle, and Gantz, to name a few. Our updated selection of Small Ginger Snaps, interchangeable with bracelets, necklaces and rings, is available in a variety of colors, shapes and stones. We continue to offer our selection of stylish handbags. Our reasonably priced “Jérôme Jewelry Collection” includes rings, bracelets, earrings, sets of necklaces, some with semi-precious stones, as well as a wide assortment of children’s watches and jewelry. . The most popular items are comfy baby jackets in blue, pink and leopard, belly blankets, photo frames, highlight items and a variety of children’s toys and stuffed animals. Customers love our famous Beekman brothers’ hand creams, soaps, face makeup removers and lip balms.

You’ll find a bar and wine accessories, eclectic and wine caddies featuring doctors, golfers, nurses, firefighters, musicians, athletes and gardeners are guest favorites. Enjoy Wall & Counter Art Expressions, Holiday Wreaths, Kitchen Towels, Spatula Sets, Mugs & Aprons, Santas, Snowmen, Snowbabies, Candle Holders & Warmers – crystal candles, angels, elegant twinkling and country trees, hundreds of magnificent ornaments, cardinals, flags, throws, centerpieces and night lights. The St. Jerome Guild, Inc., a voluntary, non-profit organization, has served the healthcare community for decades and celebrated its centennial a few years ago. The group continues to be an active organization donating vital equipment to UMMC. . The Guild’s 2020 Hometown Heroes Star initiative honoring all UMMC employees for their efforts during the height of the pandemic raised $ 3,000. These funds contributed to the purchase of $ 7,000 by the Guild of an urgently needed freezer to store Covid vaccines!

For decades, the Guild has offered UMMC employees pursuing educational careers our annual health professional scholarships. Children who visit the Jérôme Emergency Care Center are comforted by stuffed animals. Cancer patients are given treatment bags containing personal items. The Guild sponsors the annual Center Jerome Employee Appreciation Day to thank employees for their efforts in service to the community. Guild members give thousands of volunteer hours working at the store and for UMMC events, including the teddy bear clinic. The Guild has set up a satellite gift shop at the UMMC kiosk on North Street, open at various times, offering our inventory of household items, gift items and clothing.

The hours of operation of the St. Jerome Gift Shop vary and Monday through Friday 9 am to 3 pm and Saturdays from

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Managed and operated by Guild volunteers only. New members are welcome to join the Guild throughout the year and a membership tea is held in September. Members attend regular monthly meetings that include a program and guest speakers. The Guild runs a monthly lottery and the community is invited to participate.
